Raspberry Pi Connect [1]

To setup connect.raspberrypi.com [2]:
 

1. sudo rpi-connect on
    
2. pi-connect signin
    
3. Sign into connect with the URL you received in Step 2.
4. Name your device.
5. Connect to the device

The setting are presistent. After setup, all you have to do is to login to connect and select your device:
 

1. http://connect.raspberrypi.com
    
2. Enter the password for your raspberry pi account.
3. Select your device.

Although, you can upgrade rpi-connect-lite over connect.raspberrypi.com, it is complicated [3]. So, I generally hold updating "connect":

sudo apt-mark hold rpi-connect-lite

until I can SSH into the remote server.
